Abstract摘要
The invariant theory is a powerful tool for the study of flavor mixing and CP violation in a basis-independent way. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the invariant theory for the ring of matrix invariants under the unitary transformations in the flavor space. Explicit constructions of flavor invariants will be carried out in the seesaw models for neutrino masses and its low-energy effective theories. The intrinsic connection between leptonic CP violation at low- and high-energy scales can be established through the matching of flavor invariants.
报告人简介：周顺，中科院高能所研究员、国科大岗位教授，2009年获中科院高能所博士学位，之后在德国慕尼黑马普物理所、瑞典皇家理工学院从事博士后研究，2014年入选“中科院人才计划”回国工作，2015年入选中组部高层次人才计划青年项目。主要研究方向包括费米子质量起源与味混合、新物理唯象学、中微子质量模型、中微子天文和天体物理、宇宙物质-反物质不对称。2011年与邢志忠研究员合作出版中微子物理学英文专著《Neutrinos in Particle Physics, Astronomy and Cosmology》，2015年应邀在第27届国际轻子光子会上作中微子理论综述报告。迄今已在国际重要粒子物理专业期刊发表学术论文90多篇，总被引用3000余次。
